The University of Evansville's vision for the future is grounded in its core purpose:
"To provide life-transforming educational experiences that prepare students to engage the world as informed, ethical, and productive citizens."
In a world that is ever changing, pursuing this commitment provides the University with a significant challenge.
To meet this challenge, we are making prominent changes that include the Schroeder Family School of Business Administration building and the Dr. William L. Ridgeway University Center. During this same time, $10 million has been invested to renovate student residence halls.
Academically, our course and program offerings are being reviewed to ensure that they are both inspiring and informative. The U·Envision Capital Campaign is also bringing greater resources to the programs, services, and compensation packages offered by the University.
To further strengthen the institution, our strategic plan has also been updated. We did this through a collaborative process that fully assessed and responded to our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. As a result, our plan has produced three directional themes: fostering student success, developing global citizenship, and building community commitment. By placing focus on these themes and remaining strategic, we will position the University for a rich and vital future for many generations.
The following sections outline the hallmarks of an Evansville education and include strategic initiatives and goals that will guide us for the next four years.
