La Toya Smith
Coordinator of Diversity and Outreach Initiatives
La Toya Smith is a University of Evansville alumna in her first year of working in the Office of Admission. During her collegiate experience, La Toya served as the President of the Black Student Union for two years and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education.
In her free time, La Toya enjoys shopping, reading, traveling, and spending time with her dog.
At UE, La Toya works with students from Louisville, Memphis, and Lake County, Indiana. She works with current students as advisor of the Multicultural Action Committee and plans diversity programs including Martin Luther King Jr. Day activities. La Toya is also actively involved in Evansville in providing outreach activities for the community.
