Customized Bachelor Degree Completion Program in Individualized Study
The Bachelor Degree Completion Program in Individualized Study at the University of Evansville provides students with a significant portion of their college credits earned (normally 80-100 credit hours) to develop an individualized major option. This option allows goal-oriented students to participate in the design of a bachelor's degree curriculum which will take maximum advantage of prior credits earned and provide the best possible education to meet life and career plans for the future. Financial aid is available. The individualized major is a non-traditional degree program designed especially for adults who:
- Have earned 80-100 college credits from regionally accredited institutions
- Desire a major field of concentration not offered in any traditional degree in the geographical area, or
- Have successfully completed college courses at the University of Evansville and/or a number of other accredited institutions which are not applicable toward a traditional degree, or
- Would like to apply for college credit for college level learning which did not occur in a college or university setting.
Transfer credits, classroom work, and independent study are combined to produce an individualized and flexible degree plan.
Application Process
Students wishing to enter the program must have a high school diploma or its equivalent. Previously earned college credits must show a Grade Point Average of at least 2.0 (C) on a 4.0 scale.
