Introduction to the Symphony
Would you like to attend a concert, but don’t know what to expect? Experience the joy of the symphony with this fun, four-session workshop. This relaxing and enriching class will require only your time – no reading, textbook, or homework required!
This course includes:
- Basic musical concepts
- An introduction to all the orchestra instruments
- Typical movements for classical symphony
- Changes and innovations
- Discussion about the symphony as a nonprofit organization from the director of the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra
- Tour of The Victory Theatre
