Staying in Touch

The Alumni Association can help you stay in touch. Permanent data files are maintained for all alumni by the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations. Records are not released or sold for non-University projects, and access to this information is carefully controlled. If you wish to contact a classmate but do not have a current address, the Alumni Office will be happy to provide it for you. To help keep records current, please report all changes in address, marital status, births, deaths and employment status to the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations. In addition to the standard means of communication, you can notify us of changes online. If you do not want your information to be released, please notify our office.

UE Magazine

UE alumni receive three issues of UE Magazine each year. The magazine contains feature articles on the University, faculty and alumni. It also contains a special Connections section, which covers alumni events and other services and programs for alumni. The Class Notes section of the magazine shares information on former classmates' careers, marriages, births and accomplishments. If you have information for the Class Notes section, be sure to send us your Alumni Newsgram located in the back of every issue of UE Magazine or submit your information online. We make every effort to publish Class Notes in a timely manner; however, due to our publication schedule and deadlines, please note there may be at least one full magazine cycle before a submitted Class Note appears.

Harlaxton Connections premiered in November 1998. Harlaxton alumni from UE and other institutions receive this newsletter once a year to stay informed of the latest happenings at Harlaxton College.

UE/State of Indiana License Plate Registration Process: Easier in 2011

The UE Alumni Association and the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles have teamed up to make obtaining or renewing your UE license plate easier.

The process, for both new and renewal plates, can now be completed in one stop rather than two. Instead of completing a form at the Alumni Association and then taking it to the BMV, you can now handle the process online or through the mail with the BMV. Go to http://www.in.gov/bmv/2744.htm and complete the process online!

The UE Alumni Association will still receive the $25 fee, processed by the Bureau, which goes toward student scholarships. To ensure that you get gift credit with UE, indicate that you agree for the BMV to share your name with UE. If you have any questions, contact the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations at 812 488-2586 or alumni@evansville.edu.

Alumni Directory

The last UE Alumni Association Print Directory was published in 2008. UE contracted with Publishing Concepts Inc. (PCI) of Dallas, Texas to produce a text version and a CD version. PCI is the same company who produced the 2002 UE Alumni directory. If you are interested in obtaining a back issue, contact the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations at 812 488-2586. Alumni may access UE's online directory through its online community, UE Alumni Online - at www.uealumnionline.com
