"The emphasis UE places on global learning and understanding is dramatic. It distinguishes the Schroeder Family School of Business Administration from others and will make me a more effective business leader. At UE, I have experienced a quality international education through my Harlaxton experiences (10-day business trip and full semester). Through both experiences, I was exposed to international business practices in the classroom, in course excursions, and in my personal travel experiences. In the UK, I learned more about our own culture and ways of doing things by comparing them to the British system of commerce. I visited several UK businesses and was exposed to their realities of manufacturing, marketing, and brand formation. I am now more aware of being in a different social and economic environment than my own and learning how to navigate their unique challenges."
