Communication
"I'm pleased where life has taken me, and I owe a large part of my success to the University of Evansville."
Shannon Novosel,
Class of 2009
The University of Evansville's Department of Communication offers Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in communication. The communication program emphasizes well-roundedness and preparation for success in the job market. Skills acquired at UE provide a solid foundation on which to launch a rewarding career.
Here are three great reasons to major in communication at the University of Evansville:
Choose your area of specialization: advertising/public relations, journalism, multimedia production and organizational communication.
Get hands-on experience. You can work at WUEV, Evansville's radio station; Crescent Magazine, our student magazine; and the LinC, our award-winning yearbook.
Prepare for your future. Internship and career opportunities are available throughout the Evansville area as well as with regional, national, and international organizations in fields such as radio and television, public relations, Web design, newspapers and magazines, and advertising.
