Engineering and Computer Science
"Learning is a lifestyle, a quality of life choice."
John Layer
Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Civil Engineering
In the College of Engineering and Computer Science, we offer seven degree programs in engineering, computer science and technology. Each one pursues a common mission: to offer a personalized education to talented and motivated students.
Here are four great reasons to major in engineering at the University of Evansville:
An established program - the University of Evansville has the oldest engineering and computer science co-op program in Indiana and the ninth oldest in the United States.
State-of-the-art facilities - Koch Center for Engineering and Science recently made renovations in excess of $19 million.
Exciting student projects, such as the firefighting robot, the human powered lunar rover vehicle, and the concrete canoe which finished second in regional competition.
Post-graduate opportunities - a master's degree program is available in electrical engineering and computer science.
