History
The history faculty at the University of Evansville nurtures high academic standards. Faculty members are convinced that every student is owed a rigorous, challenging education. Since classes are small, especially upper-level classes, we are in a good position to provided appropriate academic challenges and support. The personal familiarity has many benefits and is reinforced with a history club, the honorary society, and other social activities.
Here are four great reasons to major in history at the University of Evansville:
Gain valuable hands-on experience. Working with a faculty advisor, seniors complete a research project on the subject of their choice.
Study abroad at Harlaxton College, our campus in England, or anywhere in the world.
Conduct your own original research project. You can even get it funded through UExplore, Evansville's undergraduate research program.
Succeed after graduation. Our graduates have gone on to careers in teaching, government, business, law, and journalism.
