Dana Caldemeyer
Class of 2008
Dana Caldemeyer spent over two years working on her history research project and can attest to the department's eagerness to help its students. "They pressed me to do more than I thought I could. They caused me to think critically, gave me confidence to present my research at national conferences, and ultimately helped me exceed my own expectations. The constant support and direction of the department made my research a challenging but wonderful experience. These professors became more than teachers; they became my mentors and my friends. I hope to one day excite others about history the way that they have excited me."
