Students of History
Rashanda Pease
Waterloo, Indiana
When it comes to opportunities in college, Rashanda Pease has had her share. While at UE, she has held leadership positions in several campus organizations; had a five-week internship with a member of the Canadian Parliament; studied abroad for one year in Paris, France; and received an undergraduate research grant.
"All of these opportunities were possible because of the support and enthusiasm of the entire history department. My courses and personal relationships with each faculty member have prepared me well for the extremely diverse responsibilities, challenges, and experiences I have faced in college and will continue to face in my future."
Lori Brown
The Woodlands, Texas
"One of the great features of majoring in history at UE is that it prepares you for a wide range of careers, from law or academics to nonprofit work. For me, it has led to the field of politics."
While at UE, Lori has interned with the United States House of Representatives, studied abroad in Spain, and worked in the office of the mayor of Evansville. "The skills, knowledge, and experiences I've acquired through my study here at UE have given me a clear path for the future."
