Internet Technology
The interdisciplinary program in Internet Technology at UE prepares students for careers in Internet project development and advanced study in information technology or computer science.
Making good use of the Internet begins with a firm foundation in computer science. Add to that an understanding of information exchange, people and the social structures in which they operate, graphic design, information theory, the history of information technology, online law and ethics, and the economic forces that drive technological change, and you will have what it takes to succeed in today's fast-changing Web development profession.
Here are three great reasons to major in Internet Technology at the University of Evansville:
You can combine technical knowledge with people skills and creativity to create your dream job in Internet Technology.
Co-ops or internships, which are a part of UE's Internet Technology program, give you real-world experience while you are still in college and allow you to begin networking and building outside business contacts.
You will learn Web development from a technical (how to) perspective and will learn proper design elements that will give your work that professional edge that is so important in today's job market.
