Mechanical engineering is one of the broadest fields of engineering, encompassing applications as diverse as automotive or aerospace vehicles, power generation, manufacturing processes, plastic products, and electronic hardware. At UE, students can take elective engineering classes to better prepare them for their specific interest.
In today's society, working well with people with different professional backgrounds is vital, and UE prepares students well with a strong liberal arts program and an opportunity to study at Harlaxton College. There are many co-op and internship opportunities for UE students, allowing for valuable hands-on experience.
Here are four great reasons to major in mechanical engineering at the University of Evansville:
The mechanical engineering program is accredited by EAC-ABET.
Students are given individual attention and classes are taught by PhD faculty.
Opportunities for undergraduate research.
Participation in senior-led design team competitions.
