Profile
Sarah Blue is an Assistant Professor of Nursing in the Dunigan Family Department of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Evansville. She has national certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from East Carolina University. She also completed a post-master’s program as a Nurse Educator, also at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
In addition to teaching, Sarah has practiced nursing as a hospitalist Nurse Practitioner, as a neuroscience ICU nurse, and in various perioperative settings. She enjoys teaching students at various levels throughout the nursing program at UE. She has also served as a faculty advisor for the Student Nurse Association of Peers.
Outside of teaching, Sarah enjoys hiking and cooking with her husband, spending time with family, reading, and ZUMBA!!
