Philosophy
Derek was drawn towards the clarity and precision of philosophy.
Offering a major and minor in this humanities-based discipline, the University of Evansville allows you to study philosophy to gain an awareness of the perennial issues confronting human beings, particularly with respect to their place in society, their claims to knowledge and the commitment to values. Majoring in philosophy provides a solid background in logic, ethics, the history of philosophy, and the theory of knowledge.
