Physical Therapy
"My professors have always made themselves available for any questions and review of materials we're learning."
Brian Joyce,
Evansville, Indiana
The University of Evansville offers an entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. Students can complete an undergraduate and DPT degree in six years (3+3 track) or seven years (4+3 track). Direct entry admission is available to high school seniors who have displayed superior academic performance while in high school.
Here are five great reasons to major in physical therapy at the University of Evansville:
As a physical therapy major, you will receive your UE merit based scholarship for six or seven years, depending on your selected undergraduate track.
You will learn from dedicated faculty with a diverse blend of clinical expertise. All of the physical therapy courses are taught by professors, not teaching assistants.
Study while traveling the world. You can attend classes at Harlaxton College as an undergraduate and participate in clinical opportunities in Argentina, Australia, the Netherlands or the United Kingdom as a physical therapy student.
Our physical therapy students are recognized for their excellent communication, documentation, patient care skills, and professionalism.
Get results: The majority of our DPT graduates obtain employment prior to graduation; 95.36 percent of our DPT graduates have passed the state licensure exam on the first attempt with an overall pass rate of 100 percent.
