Leadership Giving Club Levels

What is the UE President's Club?

The President's Club is a growing circle of alumni and friends that is dedicated to helping UE achieve our mission of providing life-transforming educational experiences for our students. President's Club members are the philanthropic leaders of the University of Evansville. An annual gift of $1,000 or more to UE initiates President's Club membership and demonstrates a tremendous commitment to providing scholarship assistance to our students and to supporting the University at-large. Unrestricted gifts are preferred because they are applied to the area of greatest need in student financial aid. However, President's Club gifts may be designated to support a specific academic program, facility, scholarship fund, or athletics.

Sponsor-A-Student

The Sponsor-A-Student Program may be one of the most satisfying ways to give to UE and become a President's Club member. For an unrestricted gift of $2,000 or more for scholarship support, a deserving UE student will be named as a scholarship recipient. Every year, sponsors are given the opportunity to meet the student(s) benefiting from their assistance at the annual Gift of Scholarship Dinner. Many of our students could not attend UE without the generous participants in the Sponsor-A-Student program.

President's Club Young Alumni Membership

Graduates of the last decade are the future philanthropic leaders of the University of Evansville. Accordingly, UE has created a classification for our President's Club designed to encourage participation of our young alumni in leadership giving. This involvement, starting in the Senior year, will help ensure that UE will have the necessary leadership in place for the future.

UE realizes that giving at the regular $1,000 President's Club level is not always feasible for people at this stage in their lives. For that reason, recent graduates will be offered full membership in the UE President's Club at an adjusted giving amount, depending upon graduation year.

President's Club Young Alumni Benefits include: Networking opportunities and invitations to exclusive President's Club events; invitation to the annual banquet; a newly designed car window decal (however, no parking privileges until the $500 level is attained); recognition in the President's Club brochure and in the on-line honor roll.

If the Young Alum is employed by or associated with a company that matches gifts, or if their spouse works for such a company, you may double or even triple your gift. Corporate matching gifts count toward the total amount for recognition purposes.
