International Focus
A Global Classroom
Sixty percent of University of Evansville students study abroad, making us one of the top ten comprehensive universities in the United States for international study.
Harlaxton College, no other place like it in the world!
Because Harlaxton College is owned and operated by the University of Evansville, all of your financial assistance goes with you. You will also find the same academic quality that you have come to appreciate at Evansville — small, challenging courses and close relationships with professors who are committed to teaching.
Connected to the World
At UE, you will work with your academic advisor and the study abroad office to develop a study abroad program that best meets your goals and interests.
- Olivia Franken spent a semester in Argentina interviewing grade school students about the way they were taught the history of the country's dictatorship.
- Kendra Syversen was part of a team of researchers in New Zealand collecting data from individuals who were in the criminal justice system.
- Bethany Brimberry worked with Boda-Boda, a start-up company located in Kenya that makes transport carts.
Making Connections
Your international experience begins at UE. Students from well over 200 countries have studied here. Many have lived in Moore Residence Hall along with students from all over the United States, creating a rich and diverse environment. The sharing continues through the popular I-House program. In this weekly event, domestic and international students are given the opportunity to experience one another's unique cultures and customs.
At UE, somebody in your residence hall or class, at your dinner table, or even on your intramural team will be from another country. Global learning and understanding take place as close or far away as you want it.
