George A. Speckert was a member of the first class of students at Harlaxton College in 1971. He graduated from the University of Evansville in 1973 and now lives in Hannover, Germany where he works as a music/media educator and composer. He began his work on this music in 1971 composing music for the Harlaxton College Dedication Ceremony and then added to it in 1996 for the 25th Anniversary.
On the 40th anniversary of Harlaxton College, George has added video footage of the Manor and surrounding village to his lovely music creating a beautiful portrait and cherished keepsake. The University of Evansville is grateful for George's generosity in allowing An English Experience to be offered as a gift to those donors who give $500 or more to any Harlaxton Fund including: the Harlaxton Society fund or endowed scholarship fund, the Harlaxton Annual Fund and/or the Lion Terrace fund among others.
