Education

UE School of Education students will have 1,000 hours of classroom experience before graduation.

Special Education

Candidates completing a special education degree in either secondary or elementary education will find themselves with very marketable skills and credentials. As in all School of Education programs, candidates spend a great deal of time working in special needs settings with teachers of students with disabilities of every type and intensity. These clinical-based approaches blend practitioner knowledge and experience which, under the tutelage of skilled clinical educators, provides sound support for beginning special education teachers.
