Biography

Jamie is an Assistant Professor in the Dunigan Family Department of Nursing and Health Sciences. She teaches the sophomore nursing courses of Fundamentals and Physical Assessment, a Healthy Families course that focuses on clients and families of all ages, and Pharmacology.

Jamie is a board certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health. Jamie has practiced surgical nursing and has experience working on a medical-surgical unit, at a pediatric clinic, and a gynecology clinic. Jamie is also a member of the nursing honor society, Sigma Theta Tau International.

Jamie enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves working out and doing many outdoor activities.
