Need-Based Financial Aid
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the primary application used by all colleges in the United States to determine eligibility for need-based financial aid. By completing the FAFSA, you will be applying for grants, student loans and work-study from federal, state, and university sources. Your FAFSA results can be directed to several colleges at once by listing the colleges' codes. The University of Evansville code for the FAFSA is 001795.
The FAFSA should be completed annually after January 1 to apply for aid for the following academic year. Students must be seeking a degree and have been accepted for admission by UE.
Students entering UE in the fall semester of 2012 should file the 2012-13 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) after January 1, 2012. Indiana residents should file by March 10, 2012, for maximum aid eligibility.
Students wishing to begin at UE during the 2011-12 academic year (January 2012 or summer 2012) should file the 2011-12 FAFSA.
