Assistant Professor of Political Science
The Department of Law, Politics and Society at the University of Evansville invites applications for a tenure track position in International Relations, with the appointment to begin in August 2014.
We are looking for someone with broad training in International Relations who can teach introductory and upper-level undergraduate courses. Because we are a small department, it would be useful for a candidate to have some demonstrated expertise in teaching courses in a different subfield (such as political theory, methodology, comparative politics, or American politics). While a completed PhD in political science is preferred, we will consider applicants who are ABD.
Applicants should submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, evidence of effective teaching (including syllabi and student evaluations), one scholarly writing sample, and three letters of recommendation. All materials should be sent electronically to Kay Norris at firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications received by October 1, 2013, will receive full consideration, but we will continue to accept submissions until the position is filled. Foreign nationals should indicate their current U.S. immigration status.
