Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology
The Department of Biology at the University of Evansville invites applications for a one year visiting professor position beginning in August 2014.
The successful candidate will be asked to teach general biology (BIOL 107), cell biology (BIOL 440), and a course in the applicant’s area of expertise (preferably genetics or molecular biology). The candidate will also be asked to teach in the general education curriculum (BIOL 100). The individual selected will be expected to advise students and participate in on-going discussions about potential changes to the biology curriculum.
Candidates should have a Ph.D in Molecular or Cellular Biology. Research experience in medically-related fields would be helpful.
