Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor of French
The University of Evansville invites applications for a one-year appointment of Visiting Instructor of French. This non-tenure track position begins in August 2014.
The Visiting Instructor of French will have responsibility for teaching introductory and intermediate French language courses (7 per academic year). Faculty members are expected to participate in department activities.
Ideal candidates would have at least two years of experience teaching French at the college level. Experience using a communicative approach, with near-native fluency, is desired. A PhD in French, francophone studies or language acquisition is recommended; however, a MA degree would be considered.
