The hard part is over! You have been accepted to the University of Evansville, and now you can enjoy your status as a UE student.  So you may be asking yourself "now what?" Below is a calendar of notable events and deadlines for you, the accepted student:

February
• Housing packets go out in mid-February
• Make sure to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply for need-based aid
• Attend Road Trip February 15-17

March
• File your FAFSA by March 1
• If you have not had the chance to see campus, schedule your customized campus visit
• Financial aid letters and awards will be mailed out

April
• Review your financial aid award and letter
• Submit your $300 housing deposit to ensure your spot in the freshman class

May
• Deposit deadline is May 1
• Summer Session I begins on May 19

June
• Attend one of the three Summer Orientation and Academic Registration (SOAR) sessions.  The first two are: June 12-14 and June 19-21
• Summer Session II begins on June 23

July
You will learn of your roommate(s) and room assignment this month. Contact the Office of Residence Life with questions.

August
• SOAR 3 is on August 21-23
• Welcome Week is August 23-26
• Classes begin on Wednesday, August 27
