Study Abroad
Foreign language majors are required to study abroad to enhance their fluency and cultural knowledge. The Office of Study Abroad offers outstanding resources to help students select a suitable summer-, semester-, or year-long program. The department sponsors its own summer programs in South America and Japan. In addition, more than 100 universities in 51 countries around the world have study abroad options in which Evansville students may enroll and still apply their scholarship and financial aid to the program.
Scholarships
All foreign language, archaeology, and international studies majors receive an extra $500 scholarship to use for the study abroad requirement. This scholarship may be used only once. It is in addition to other scholarships and grants awarded.
