Dominic Faraone 
Finding the right college to prepare for graduate school was very important for Dominic Faraone. Now, as a graduate student at Marquette University, Faraone is positive that he made the right choice in selecting UE. Dominic chose the University of Evansville because of the learning experiences he knew would be provided. "Its excellent faculty and small class sizes allow students to broaden their academic horizons while simultaneously fostering interaction with faculty and fellow students. UE not only breeds scholarship but allows students to develop a personal relationship with professors. "I knew,entering the University of Evansville, that I would study history. But once I got to UE, my commitment to this field was nurtured by the outstanding faculty, each of who offered varied and intriguing teaching styles. Learning at UE, however, was not confined to the classroom. The extracurricular organizations associated with the history department attest to this notion. As a past president of the school's Society of History Scholars and as treasurer of Phi Alpha Theta, I can testify that opportunities to interact with fellow students and history faculty are indeed present at Evansville." |
