All University of Evansville students are encouraged to participate for academic credit in one of our many ensembles. Ensembles are open to all students regardless of major. Some ensembles require an audition while others do not. All ensembles perform regularly on and off campus.
Ensemble Participation Grants
Music scholarships for non-majors are awarded by audition to students majoring in an area other than music who are interested in performing in a music ensemble. The grant is part of the aid package from the Office of Financial Aid and may be extended more than one year if all requirements of the ensemble as outlined in the course syllabus are met. To be considered, apply for admission to the University by February 1. Contact the Department of Music indicating your instrument or voice and interest in a particular ensemble. Arrangements will then be made for an audition or submission of a DVD or CD recording. Auditions for the grant must be completed by May 1.
