In addition to general academic guidelines required for admission to the University of Evansville, the nursing major requires the following standards:
- Three years of English and mathematics
- Two years of science, including two semesters of chemistry, with grades of C or above
- High school rank in the upper third of the graduating class
- SAT scores of 1500 or more, or ACT scores of 22 or more
- Students who do not meet these criteria are considered on an individual basis by the Admission, Standards, and Progression Committee, and may need to arrange a personal interview.
