In addition to our extensive study abroad options, the University of Evansville has numerous internship opportunities. Internships, both domestic and international, can make all the difference in the world, whether students apply to graduate school or go directly into the competitive workforce. Students can choose from a variety of placements including local law firms, state legislatures, the U.S. Congress, lobbying firms, federal government agencies, nongovernmental organizations, and international governmental organizations.
While at Harlaxton, students may intern with members of the British parliament. You can also spend your summer with representatives in Ontario, Canada. For the more adventurous, we have placed students with Time magazine in China, the U.S. State Department in Russia, United Nations in Switzerland, the Central Intelligence Agency in Washington, and the European Union in Belgium. The University of Evansville's Institute for Global Enterprise in Indiana provides additional opportunities for foreign internships in the private sector.
