Brittney Manley has always known she wanted to study psychology. "I took a course in high school, and I just knew psychology was for me." Brittney chose the University of Evansville because of its established reputation in the field.

"Working with the psychology professors is a great experience. I was a research assistant for Professor Weiss, and we were trying to determine who is honest in presenting themselves on personality tests and who is attempting deception. A baseline score was taken for each respondent, and then each person was asked to retake the test with alternate instructions." By participating in an undergraduate research experience, Brittney was able to present the research findings and outcomes at national professional conferences.

Brittney plans to attend graduate school to pursue a doctorate in psychology. "I want to be the best at whatever I do, and UE has given me the foundation to succeed."
