The following is a list of the University of Evansville’s merit-based scholarships, reserved for scholastic achievement at the highest level, and merit-based awards, which recognize special traits and qualities that students bring to campus. The following awards cannot be combined. Even though you may qualify for more than one, you can only be awarded the one of highest value. Academic Scholarship - These awards range in value from $5,000 to $13,500 per year and reward students who have excelled academically in high school. GPA, difficulty of curriculum, and standardized test scores are considered.

Leadership Activity Award - These awards are valued at $5,000 per year. Students who have been actively involved as leaders in high school, community, or church will be considered for one of these awards.

Legacy Award - These awards are valued at $6,500 per year. Children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of UE graduates will be considered for one of these awards.

United Methodist Scholarship - These awards are valued at $6,000 per year. Because of our affiliation with the UM church, we award church members the UM scholarship.

Cultural Diversity Award - These awards range in value from $5,000 to $13,500 per year and are awarded to students who demonstrate a commitment to cultural diversity. This scholarship is available to all students with selection based upon a record of academic achievement, student leadership, and community involvement.

Fine/Performing Arts Scholarship - These awards range in value from $5,000 to $13,500 per year. These scholarships are reserved for students majoring in art, music, or theatre. An audition/portfolio is required for scholarship consideration.

Trustee Scholarship - Awards ranging from 50 percent to full-tuition will be awarded to students who rank first in their high school class at the time of application.

Toyota Scholarship - Awards range from $10,500 to $13,000 per year for students admitted to UE's College of Engineering and Computer Science with a high school GPA of 3.6 or higher and score 1730 or higher on the SAT or 25 or higher on the ACT.

American Corporate Scholarship - Awards range from $10,500 to $13,000 per year for students admitted to UE's School of Business Administration with a high school GPA of 3.6 or higher and score 1730 or higher on the SAT or 25 or higher on the ACT.

Twenty-first Century Scholar Award - Awarded to Indiana residents who are members of the Twenty-first Century Scholars program.
