Academic Quality

Faculty who care about your learning.

The quality of your education reflects the passion our faculty members have for teaching. They consider it the most important thing they do.

Professors Committed to Teaching

Your professors will challenge you. They will expose you to new ideas, encourage you to analyze problems and develop new solutions, and offer you their support. They are passionate about their teaching and your learning.

A Cut Above the Rest

Ninety percent of UE's faculty members hold the highest degrees in their fields from schools such as Harvard, Duke, Yale, Brown, Cornell, Rutgers, Vanderbilt, MIT, Carnegie-Mellon, Case-Western Reserve, and Notre Dame, along with institutions in the Midwest such as Indiana and Purdue and as far away as Edinburgh. Many of them began their academic careers here at the University of Evansville.

Partners in Learning

Although they may be intimidated at first, UE students quickly find themselves immersed in their learning experience. In return, professors seek ways to inspire them by building personal relationships and teaching in innovative ways. Students who crave this type of learning don't attend just any college; they're looking for a school where students and professors work together.

The University of Evansville has been recognized many times over for its academic quality.

In fact, you can find UE cited in U.S. News & World Report, Barron's, Princeton ReviewThe Performing Arts Major’s College GuideOpen Doors, and even Rolling Stone.

The final proof, however, is you.

Your Evansville education will result in an ability to apply knowledge and make informed decisions. That ability comes from a quality education.
