When I look to the future, I know that UE's name recognition will help me be competitive in my job search. That is one of the many reasons I came to UE. My professors are always available when I have questions, and the class size is perfect for me.
I'm in engineering, yet I'm still able to participate in other campus activities that interest me like ACES Dance Team, the Society of Women Engineers, and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. My life is hectic, but I wouldn't want to be anyplace else.

It is important to get involved in undergraduate research. Students who participate in undergraduate research learn a great deal about the process of science, complete with all its thrills and agonies. More important, they learn how to be independent thinkers and problem solvers.
I want my students to take an active role in the research by collecting data and analyzing results. Then they can conclude their research by presenting their findings at a national conference. It's a great learning experience.
