Thanksgiving Break

Students remaining on campus during Thanksgiving break are reminded to keep doors locked and carry their keys between Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.

If you need assistance during the break, please contact the Office of Public Safety at 812-488-2051. The Office of Residence Life will be closed from 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 through Sunday, December 1, 2024. On-Call Residence Life staff can be contacted through Public Safety during this time.

The last meal before break is Tuesday, November 26, 2024 for dinner in The Eatery. The first meal after Thanksgiving Break is Sunday, December 1, 2024 for dinner in The Eatery.

Reserve a whole roasted chicken by Wednesday November 20 at Noon.
Pick up your order on Tuesday, November 26 between Noon and 5 p.m.
Cost = One Meal Exchange on pick-up day or $8.99 (Credit card or Ace Bucks)

The Eatery To-Go Containers Pick up a To-Go container in Ridgway and stock it with an extra Meal to be eaten over the Break.
*cost for 2024 packages will be determined during the fall 2024 semester

Safety Tips during Thanksgiving Break

  • Take home valuables to guard against unforeseen damage or theft
  • Report security issues (such as doors or windows that don’t lock) to the Physical Plant well before break, so they can be fixed prior to your departure.
