Center for Student Engagement and Volunteer Services
We are all about choices and you will decide how to get involved in your Evansville Experience. Whether you are a member of one of the 150 student organizations, a community service volunteer, or a participant in one of our leadership programs, you will discover and sharpen your communication, interpersonal, resource management, and leadership skills in preparation for the world that awaits you after life in college. Along the way, you will have fun and make the friends who you will have for life.
The Recreation Lounge and Rademacher's Café
Come relax with your friends and classmates in the stylish decor of the Recreation Lounge. Specialty coffees and gourmet beverages, fresh salads and sandwiches, bakery items, and more await you in Rademacher's Café. This is a place where you can relax on one of the cushy leather couches in front of a big screen TV. Billiards, snooker, foosball tables, shuffleboard and a poker table round out the stress-free ambience of this room designed for fun or studying. Laptops are available for check out by students seven days a week during the academic year (except during breaks for use through the Ridgway University Center. Laptops are connected for wireless printing. Additionally, computer stations are located on the first and second floors of the building. Weekends are a hit with Student Activities Board (SAB) programming such as Open Mic Nights, Game Nights, and coffee house music acts located on the 2nd floor of the Ridgway University Center above the Recreational Lounge.
UExperience Transcript
Want to spice up your resume or graduate school portfolio? You can leave UE with more than just your transcript of class work! Since college is more than grades, we also keep track of your student involvement. It's a great way to show employers that you didn't spend four years in a residence hall watching TV! The UExperience transcript is your official record of co-curricular membership, volunteer work, and leadership positions. All the activities you participate in during your four years will be official! For more information visit the UExperience Web site or contact the Center for Student Engagement at 812-488-2371.
