Admission Counselor and Diversity Recruitment Specialist

• Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business Management w/ a double major in Legal Studies at the University of Wisconsin- Madison
• MA Cultural and Critical Studies University of Westminster. 

I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois! Oddly enough that did not stop me from finding my passion for agriculture. During high school I was heavily involved with FFA and MANRRS (Minorities in Agriculture Natural Resources and Related Sciences). After graduation I moved to Madison, WI to pursue my undergrad in Ag Business, however, throughout my time at UW that included studying abroad in London and volunteering abroad in Uganda, I realized I had a greater passion for youth development, diversity and creating access to people and resources for underrepresented students. When I graduated with my B.S. in 2019, I returned to the University of Westminster in London, England where I studied my MA in Cultural and Critical Studies. Now, I am back Stateside and work at UE in the Office of Admission and the Center for Diversity Equity and Inclusion! When I am not on campus I am probably hanging out with my dog and/ or binging on some good ole’ Netflix. As you can probably tell, I love to travel so I cannot wait to get out and meet some of our amazing prospective students at college fairs around the U.S.!

Ask all the questions! Do not be afraid to ask questions! No question is a ‘stupid’ question and you are more than likely not alone in the confusion or curiosity. You don’t know what you don’t know and the best way to get to know what you don’t know is by asking all the questions!
