I grew up in Sellersburg, Indiana, came to Evansville for college and stayed. I love exploring the city of Evansville and enjoying sporting events (Go Aces!), concerts, nature trails, farmer’s markets, and the amazing variety of unique and delicious restaurants (especially Pangea, Kanpai, and Los Bravos). I have a passion for reading and writing (hence, choosing to major in creative writing) and am currently working on my first novel. My other favorite past-times are travelling, seeing live music (I’ve attended over 50 concerts of my favorite band), and spending time with family and friends.

The people! When I first visited UE as a high school student, I was impressed by the welcoming and friendly attitude of everyone I encountered on campus. It instantly felt like home and still does.
