Alumni and Professional Career Panel

One of the best ways for students to learn what a job is really like (the good, the bad, and the ugly) is to speak with someone who works in that job everyday. Fortunately, several UE alumni have volunteered to share their professional career path and experiences with current students. Partners in the Evansville Experience (PIEE) offers opportunities for alumni, employers, parents and friends of the University to become involved. If you or your students are interested in coordinating a career professional panel, please contact PIEE via email!

Major Exploration: TruTalent Personality

TruTalent Personality is an on-line assessment tool that will help your organization explore major and career options. Upon completion of this assessment, we will meet with your organization as a group or individually to discuss the results and to help plan their next steps to achieving personal career success.

How to Market Your International Experience

At UE, a majority of students have rated their Study Abroad experience as the highlight of their college career; have your students take advantage of that enthusiasm by incorporating it into their job search. The Internship Process: Benefits and How To Get One

Internships and co-ops, otherwise known as experiential education, are a window into the world of professional work, the chance to take a risk-free career test drive, and an opportunity to explore your career choices. At the University of Evansville, Experiential Education opportunities abound. Like any employment activity, it takes planning, professionalism and a significant amount of effort to secure the right experience. This workshop will help students learn how to get started!

Managing your professional image and representing yourself as a well-rounded candidate is critical during and after the job search process. This workshop will cover the do's and don'ts of American business etiquette and correspondence.
