"Working with students on the Infant Mortality Communication Strategies project has provided me a unique opportunity to observe students with a wide variety of academic interests come together to address a common issue. I believe this experience has helped students see the benefit of taking an interdisciplinary approach to problem solving that more accurately reflects the nature of the challenges they will face in their professional lives."
