Summer I Classes Moved to Online Instruction
Dear UE Community,
Our highest priority at the University of Evansville is the health and well-being of our community. As the COVID-19 virus continues to be a significant threat in our region, the University has decided that Summer I classes (May 18 – June 19) will continue to be offered entirely online. We will continue to monitor and evaluate the situation and will make a decision about Summer II classes as soon as possible.
As of April 6, the University has 99 courses scheduled for the Summer I term. Of these, 74 are already planned for an online environment and many others were in the process of moving online. The University has decided to move to all classes online for the Summer I term.
Summer courses will be graded on the traditional grading scale. The current pass/fail option only applies to Spring 2020 semester.
We cannot predict how COVID-19 will impact our summer, but we can adapt and plan now for our future. We will continue to provide timely and relevant communication to keep our students and our community informed. I know that together we will continue to innovate and adapt for our students to allow for a consistent experience and academic success.
