From the moment you step foot on the University of Evansville campus, you can expect a transformational experience to begin. Whether you know exactly where you want to be after graduation or could use help planning your path, here you will find the support you need, just like Suhrob Muratov did.
Originally from Dushanbe, Tajikistan, Suhrob worked with the Center for Career Development throughout his time at UE, choosing a business major in accounting and economics. Even before graduation, he landed a position with PwC, a Big Four accounting firm in New York City.
Surhob attributes his rapid growth to experiences gained as a student. “UE has many opportunities for students to learn how to manage people and become the best leader in a work place.”
Finding your future path begins with laying the foundation early, and our unique end-to-end career planning process puts students on the track to success right away. Even before a student commits to enroll, we offer a career assessment survey as part of our Career Advantage Program that helps to hone in on potential degree paths. From then on, UE students have access to the Center for Career Development’s end-to-end career planning program. This program identifies career potentials that align with interests and abilities, equips students with an arsenal of professional development tools, and connects them with a network of professionals and alumni from around the globe.
Professor Ben Johnson from the accounting program at UE has always been impressed with Surhob. “He can do anything, he’s a great student, and I can’t wait to see where he goes in his professional career.”
“The combination of great professors, talented classmates, and networking opportunities helped me improve myself on a daily basis,” Surhob says. “My goal in life is to become a CEO of a major corporation, and I am sure that my experiences and knowledge gained at UE will help me to achieve this goal.”
