Choosing More Than A School

When students chooses the University of Evansville, they are choosing a school that offers the best program in their intended field of study, that offers a world-class education where study abroad can happen virtually anywhere in the world, and that promises students the attention they deserve. These reasons were enough to draw in Susannah Frailey.

Education with Experience

Susannah also chose UE for another reason: “the prestigious nursing program.” With a program like this, UE also provided extra assistance for their students to help them achieve the greatest success possible. Susannah experienced this focus on success through supplemental instruction sessions and one-on-one interactions with faculty members who had vast experience. Because class sizes are small at UE (14:1 student-to-faculty ration), each student can get to know their professors and can reach out to them for help.

Coming Home

The small class sizes were what set UE apart from all the other schools, and this has been especially beneficial for Susannah. They made campus feel friendly, and this is exactly what she would encourage others to look for in a university. “Go where you feel at home,” she said.
