Student Involvement

There are many ways current students can give back to UE.

Student Alumni Association

Student Alumni Ambassadors, or SAA, is one of the most dynamic student organizations on campus and it is our mission to foster communication, awareness, and interaction between current students and alumni.

Senior Class Gift

Each year the graduating senior class presents a special gift to UE. The Senior Class Council coordinates the class gift and other senior class activities like Senior Week.

If you are interested in helping with the planning of senior class activities please contact the Office of Annual Giving at (812)-488-1094 or via email at development@evansville.edu for more information.

Phonathon Student Callers

Each fall and spring semester the Office of University Advancement hires a group of student callers to contact alumni, parents, and friends of the University during the UE Phonathon. As a student caller, you'll leave a legacy at UE by raising money for student scholarships, programs, and other University funds. As a student caller, you'll gain valuable experience in customer service, fundraising, and management while working in a team environment. You'll also have the opportunity to move into a Phonathon supervisory or managerial position in the future.

Students interested in becoming a student caller should contact Jennifer Calderone at jj130@evansville.edu.

Responsibilities include:

  • Calling alumni, parents, and friends of the University and asking them to make an annual gift to the Annual Fund, Parents' Fund, Harlaxton College Fund, Athletics Scholarship Fund or the Fund for Educational Excellence
  • Updating prospective donors about current UE projects, happenings and events on campus
  • Verifying and updating prospects' information accurately
