Choosing a prestigious university was very difficult, but luckily, I found the University of Evansville. UE offers a friendly environment, a great education, and most importantly it allows me to grow both as a student and an athlete.

As an organizational communication major, I am learning how to effectively communicate and plan events. My goal is to work for a company that organizes parties, weddings, and other social events.

One of my dreams is to organize a world tennis tournament featuring the world’s best tennis players, while creating an unforgettable experience. Thanks to UE, I am now learning new concepts and ideas that will help make my dreams become a reality.

The great thing about UE is the real-world experience that students gain by participating in class discussion, taking part in an internship, or assisting with a group project. All of this would not be possible without great professors who dedicate their time, experiences, and knowledge to helping us succeed. UE professors truly care about the success of their students. I am very happy I chose University of Evansville

As a senior, I already know that I have a tendency to overwhelm myself with too many responsibilities. The beautiful thing about UE is that rather than holding me back, both professors and administrators support me. They have been especially helpful about finding solutions to my scheduling hiccups.

I am a cognitive science and philosophy double major with a minor in psychology; I have been taking 18 credit hours since my freshman year. I have had the opportunity to intern at a local radio station, WNIN, I have been a residential assistant (RA) for two years, I was president of the UE Book Club and the International Club, I have assisted in research in the neuroscience laboratory, and I am still set to graduate a semester early!

Now I look forward to becoming fully immersed in the international orientation as an orientation leader and then to give campus tours as an admission ambassador throughout the semester. Meanwhile, I am working closely with my advisor to make my senior thesis and my honors project the best they can be. My time at UE has been invaluable regarding every aspect of my life. I am sure I will keep in touch with a lot of people from my alma mater, but I am also excited to graduate and explore the world; empowered by my UE degree!

For me, studying at UE means much more than just being a full-time student majoring in finance. I feel like part of a family. Because UE is relatively small, each student is viewed as a unique individual, with his or her own strengths, talents, and creative ideas.

UE will provide you with numerous opportunities to push you toward your maximum potential in your field of study. UE employs outstanding professors, introduces students to business professionals from various organizations, assists with internships, and helps students build outstanding résumés.

At UE, you will always feel a friendly and cozy atmosphere created by staff and other students. This will help you to achieve your best results and graduate as a highly qualified specialist, confident about the future.

I started out as a computer science major; it was a very challenging path, but I enjoyed it. I changed my major to management information systems due to the fact that I realized I did not want to program for the rest of my life. It was a hard decision, but thanks to the help of my former computer science adviser and current MIS adviser, it ended up being a swift and easy process. For both majors the professors are really knowledgeable and helpful, always willing to assist with any problems, or any specific issues you might have regarding your classes. There are tutors available for basically any class, and the service is free (a great help in saving money). I am really happy with the path I walked, because even though I am not going to end up being a computer science major, I learned new skills and met great people along the way. And I was also able to find my true calling.

The staff here is terrific, also very kind and willing to help you with any problems you might have. The campus is really nice, with vast green areas to relax, as well as social areas to hang out with friends. Usually the students that attend UE are kind and friendly, and through the orientation week you get to meet many people that might end up being really close friends of yours. My overall experience at UE thus far has been great!
