Students who join the interdisciplinary classical studies program will be a part of a close-knit community interested in the study of Greek and Roman antiquity with an emphasis on classical language, literature and history. The program offers a challenging liberal arts education nurtured by faculty who have a strong academic pedigree and commitment to teaching. Students will be prepared for a number of professional fields, such as law or library science, graduate studies in the classics, or master's degree programs in teaching Latin for preparatory and high schools.
