Students can access the Internet from anywhere on campus including classrooms.
During freshman year, each student is required to have a laptop, interactive e-books, and corresponding software. In their sophomore year, students will purchase an iPod Touch where additional nursing references can be accessed.
Each student must also purchase a Classroom Response System, referred to as clickers. A professor can pose a multiple choice question to the class on a project, and each student can submit his or her answer using the clicker. The software on the professor’s computer collects the answers and produces a bar chart showing the number of students who chose each of the answer choices.
