Students can access the Internet from anywhere on campus including classrooms.
During freshman year, each student is required to have a laptop, interactive e-books, and corresponding software, which will include lifetime access with unlimited updated editions. In their sophomore year, students will purchase an iPod Touch where additional nursing references can be accessed.
Each student must also purchase a Classroom Response System, referred to as clickers. A professor can pose a multiple choice question to the class on a project, and each student can submit his or her answer using the clicker. The software on the professor’s computer collects the answers and produces a bar chart showing the number of students who chose each of the answer choices.
