Doctor of Physical Therapy

At UE, Doctor of Physical Therapy students complete 1200 hours of full-time, in-the-clinic experience. Physical Therapist Assistant students complete 720 hours.

  • Freshman Admission/Direct Entry Admission - Includes information for high school students, first time adult students and direct entry candidates who plan to pursue the Doctor of Physical Therapy degree after three or four years of undergraduate coursework at the University of Evansville (UE).

  • Graduate Program Admission - Includes application and admission requirements for Transfer/Second Degree Seeking students and University of Evansville students.

  • International Student Admission - International applicants must obtain an evaluation of their education background from the Foreign Credentialing Commission on Physical Therapy (FCCPT) to show that their education meets the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education’s (CAPTE) education requirements. Required English proficiency exam scores: minimum 88/90 (TOEFL IBT) or minimum 6.5 (IELTS).
