Our religion program focuses on biblical and theological study and offers a full array of courses in the study of the biblical text, the opportunity to study the biblical languages, and a rich variety of courses in theology and ethics.

At UE, students don’t just learn in the classroom – they apply their newfound knowledge to the real world.

During your time on campus, you will have the opportunity to work as an intern at local churches, service organizations, and schools, allowing you tog ain the real-world experience needed to succeed after graduation (while earning academic credit toward your degree at the same time). Recent student interns include:

  • Paden Gullquist, Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Evansville, Indiana
  • Allen Armstrong, St. John's UCC, Boonville, Indiana
  • Diane Pottratz, First Baptist Church, Evansville, Indiana
